Hi there :)

I’m Ruixin Zhang, a visual journalist who covers a little bit of everything, with a particular focus on how institutional decisions impact local communities, education justice, and marginalized communities.

Currently based in San Francisco, I’m a sophomore at Minerva University studying History and Data Science, and I’m open to freelance assignments and summer internships. Previously, I interned at the Evanston RoundTable and served as Assistant Campus Editor at The Daily Northwestern.

When I’m not running around with a camera, you can find me reading novels, splurging at Chinatown bakeries with friends, or out for a run or hike. Let’s connect (or if you’re a fellow photographer, let’s do a photowalk together)!
